SOLAR HEATING
Solar panels heat around 4,000 liters of water per day,
HOT WATER FROM AC PLANT
Heat generated by the central AC plant is tapped and with the help of de-super heaters up to 12,000 Liters water is heated per day.
THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE
To Control the Electrical billing i.e., to control the Maximum Demand Change and Extra
Charge for electrical consumption during the peak hours we have installed an ‘AC Thermal Energy Storage Tank’ which is ‘charged’ during the night (up to 5 degrees C) and during peak hours 300-kilo watt AC plant is switched off. The air-conditioning is effected by this stored energy while keeping the AC plant shut. Thereby saving power during peak hours and reducing significant power cost.
CONSTRUCTION
The brickwork is done with ‘Siporex’ light weight blocks which also provide thermal insulation.
DOUBLE GLAZING
The anodized aluminum windows are made with double glass and gray tint to reduce loss of air-conditioning due to outside heat. This saves on power cost and also reduces disturbance due to outside noise.
WATER RE-CYCLING
A sewage treatment plant of the capacity, one lac liters per day, Re-cycles the waste water which is used for gardening, flushing and floor washing.
RAIN WATER HARVESTING
We are getting about 40,000 liter water per day from the rain water harvesting, which is used for washing after the water is filtered, softened and chlorinated.
TREE PLANTATION
A ground cover of around 50000 sq feet of lawns, 230 trees and various ornamental shrubs add to the greenery in the area.
SAVE ENERGY
Motion sensors are being installed in various public areas to switch on/off lights as per usage. Signage’s are placed all around to instill ‘Save Energy’ and ‘Save Water Initiatives’.
